Upon completion of the Software Development microCredential, students will be able to create accurate and
complete top-down designs, algorithms, and programs with functions and/or objects in computer programming
languages currently used in industry and to use data modeling methods such as stacks, queues, linked lists,
and tree structures.
Students who complete the Software Development microcredential earn ten college credit hours that may later
be transferred to one of Jefferson’s certi昀椀cate or degree programs.

CIS 116, Introductory Programming (3 credits)
CIS 216, Advanced Programming (4 credits)
CIS 250, Data Structures (3 credits)
